COMPLEXITY: THE APPLICATION OF SELF ORGANISATION
We are very excited to announce the next workshop in the complexity series with lecturer and complexity specialist, Alex Knapp, taking place on Tuesday, 17 November 2015 at 1900.
The world has vastly changed since 2008 and in order to survive both as a small business and as a large corporation we need to understand and navigate complexity. In the first lecture we learned about the principles of complexity and in this next installment we will learn how to manage complexity using the science of self-organisation to improve innovation, coordinate large teams, and respond quicker to opportunities and threats.
Self-organisation is a process where some form of overall order or coordination arises out of the local interactions between smaller component parts of an initially disordered system.
